Summary: Mochi Media is a company that creates tools for the browser gaming industry. On January 12, 2010, it was announced that Mochi Media had been acquired by Shanda games for $80 million.

MochiAds is an advertisement application targeting specifically towards monetizing web browser games using the Flash Player platform.

Advertisements are primarily added as “pre-game” to games where an advertisement is shown during loading time (which is sometimes extended to allow for the entire ad to play), as well as “inter-level” ads which can be shown at any time. Advertisements can also appear on Mochi Media’s leader board tool.
