Under: Tips
If that doesn’t help, here are a few more tips to help you improve your memory.
1. Anchor. This is a more general form of a mnemonich device. Anchoring involves linking a memory to an object. The point is that it allows you to give form to an amorphous thought, making it easier to recall.
2. Write it down. Again, the point is to take an idea and make it concrete. Anytime you have something that you absolutely, positively must remember — commit it to paper. Even if you never see your notes again, the act of writing the information on a page will make it easier to remember.
3. Just do it. Clear your mind. A big part of forgetting is just having too many things to remember. If you want to reduce the load, make sure that you get rid of most of the non-essential items on your todo list instead of trying to remember them for long periods. Sometimes to simplest solution to improving your memory is not trying to remember it at all.
