Searching for a new job? Looking to make a move? One of the most frustrating parts of a job hunt is figuring out how to “set your wage.” Depending on where you live and what you do, the average salary offered to you can vary by thousands of dollars. Instead of shooting in the dark, take a look at the average salary report. You can not only search for your job, but also in your area to see the range of salaries most commonly offered to applicants.
This toll won’t answer all of your problems. Experience, the economy and a dozen other variables can shift your base salary across the spectrum. With that said, it will at least give you a number to work with the next time you are going in for an interview.
