Take a look inside Robo Japan 2008, a yearly robotics exposition going on now. Some of the highlights include a spider-inspired robot designed to carry people on its back, a telepresence robot that mimics its operators movements, and small, flexible disaster relief bots.

Along with these newcomers, you also get to see ASIMO dance to a backdrop of what I can only describe as a jazzercise video. For some photos from inside the event, hop over here.

I wish I could afford to go to this show. I'm really into robotics and show sounds great. They display newer technology at this show then what we have in the states.
