The Houston Chronicle asks the only question that really matters. How much money would you be willing to spend for your own personal jetpack?

From Chron,

As Alan Boyle explains, it's debatable as to whether the Martin Jetpack actually qualifies as a jetpack, or whether it's simply a fan-powered lifter. In any case, you can see three videos of the jetpack in action. (Including one of an interview with his son, which could easily be a mockumentary, but clearly is not.)

For now it appears that the jetpack has only been flown within a few feet of the ground, but theoretically it could fly for 30 minutes, and rise as high as 8,000 feet.
