Personally, I am not for the slim line TVs. Although they may not take up much space, they seem very fragile.

I long for the days when things were built to last.

~Jane

Cool stuff, no doubt. And, how thin can they get? But, at this point, it is just not affordable for the average consumer. At some point, though, that day has to come.

I really feel that a thin LCD TV has proved that technology is at its best.It sure provides pure customer satisfaction.Lesser power consumption is a real plus point. All the best and keep up the good work.

Far too expensive for a 11' LCD. Prices will drop once competitors start introducing similar technology.

I was able to check this in stores and it's really very thin; I felt awkward to hold it because it feels so fragile for me. The screen resolutions and quality is very good but the price is very steep. Oh well, even if I like this, I will still wait until the price will become cheaper.

It's just amazing how the technology has developed during the last few years. I've heard that sony expiences even with nano-particles.
@Eric, I like your pragmatism^^Do it with your 1989's boob tube and you got a flatscreen as well:)
