There is about as much business advice in the world as there are entrepreneurs to hand it out. Some of it’s good, most of it is mediocre but all of it represents the experiences of people who have chosen to fight their way through the trenches of startup world.
Recently, I went out in search of some of the lessons that they have picked up along the way. The prompt was, “What is the best business advice you could give in ‘one sentence’.”
This is what I came away with.
One Sentence Business Advice
Invest in both team and task, collaborate with honesty, and you’ll survive to live another day if your first idea fails. -Deborah Nystrom

If someone does something nice for you, ask them how you can help them – even if it sounds silly to you. Listen to the advice of others. In business there is a huge body of tasks that you are forced to do on your own, under your own power. When you are given the opportunity to reach out — take it.
