Looks like disqus is one of the considerable vents of expression of thoughts in social networking sites. Disqus is one of most visited and cognitive sites. I like the way people react according to the topic. I got some idea from it.

Seems Disqus have solved the issues that made you remove Disqus from your blog. Good to see that you have reinstated Disqus. I like commenting on Disqus blogs as it makes commenting more meaningful and beneficial. In fact it is also one of the best third party commenting system available on the net.

The profiles that commenter create in DISQUS are shared across other blogs using the system. So commenter will be recognized by DISQUS without having to create whole new profile and they”ll have the same avatar and identity.

Indeed. SezWho provides a sort of universal commentator profile, not a new commenting system. My point in the debate is that SezWho takes up the same real estate as a system like Disqus. I don't believe they are cross compatible. Even if they were, I think it would be “messy”.

I guess you must've missed the point completely. SezWho is not a comment replacement system and therefore does not offer anti-spam. Anti-spam (or lack thereof) is provided by the underlying comment system.

Steven,

SezWho is not a comment replacement system instead we believe in letting sites stay in control of their data…We think platforms like WP, MT etc. do a good job or managing comment data. And what is needed are some value added services instead of adding another point of failure to the system.

Also we do not believe in competing with the sites we are on for traffic by building a destination site. Instead we focus on driving additional traffic back to the site by integrating our functions tightly into the site.
