The single most important part of the WWDC (Worldwide Developers Conference) had to be this opening speech for Steve Jobs from the “PC Guy”. Beyond that, here are some highlights from the event in no particular order.

New Safari BETA was cracked on the order of ten nano-seconds after it was released.

Feature Creep.
Leopard will have a time Time Machine, Quick Find and maybe not Screen Sharing?

Disappointing.
No Flash Support for the iPhone.

Interesting.
Second generation iPod nanos on the horizon, with larger hard drives and multiple colors.

Rehashed.
iTunes to launch a new movie rental store. Like Amazon?

Honestly, it wasn’t quite as exciting as most people hoped it would be. They did show of some of Leopard’s new features though, and if nothing else it will certainly be pretty.
