I like the idea of the new service, but I just hope the webmaster keeps it organized. Requesting an invitation is hard enough, managing a community based on invitation requests is just, funny.

I expect invitations for popular services such as Joost to be successful, invitations for smaller apps, and yet unheard of websites or applications, are probably going to be scarce.

They beat me to it!!!
For a couple of months I've tried to find time to build a great service like this on inviteme.com (great domain, don't you think?) – but sadly nothing is ready yet. To bad – my intention was to deliver a service that, well, delivers ,)
