This boils down to a tiff between an alleged plagarist (Kevin) and a Flickr photographer (Kris Krug) whose work was stolen and who is, in an amazing turn of events, now being sued by that plagarist.
The lawsuit is for defammation that resulted from a post that Krug made about the theft of his property. Apparantly, just pointing out that Kevin ‘borrowed’ his work without permission and claimed it as his own is seriously hurting Kevin a’s business.
This just goes to show what happens when you think you can get away with something in this wired world. Kevin is now falling back on the one option he has at his disposal, litigation. Hopefully, should this actually make it to court (which is highly unlikely) sanity will prevail and the only damage will be another hit to Kevin wallet.
