Since I love nothing more than exposing you to other great writers across the blogosphere, I decided to go a bit off schedule and travel the hills and valleys of the web to find some interesting authors that you may not have heard of.

Hack a day is a “blog” that teaches you DIY projects that you can do at home. Well, as long as your home has access to rudimentary electronic parts and a well stocked tool box. For anyone who has always wanted to find out how to put together an alarm clock that you can get away with punching, this is your blog.

I am a huge fan of personal productivity and Matt Cornell does a great job of writing about it. He doesn’t necessarily take the techie route that sites like me, Lifehacker and 43 Folders usually do. If you want a great example of his work, read his post on reading books quickly.
