Cell Phone Disco

Proving once again the mobile phones don’t only exist to annoy people in train stations and restaurants, cell phone disco is an amazing synthesis of design and technology.

The formula is simple. Take LEDs stir in sensors that respond to a cell phone’s magnetic field and attach the entire setup to the nearest wall. If you are interested in seeing this spectacle in action, you’re going to have to get your passport in order. The next exhibition is in Eindoven, Netherlands in November.

If you can’t make it out, this is the next best thing,
