Nice post, alot of great tips. I'm always affarid of giving and recieving pithces during parties, to me it doesn't seem like the place to do it. Everyone is there to have a good time and don't want to be bothered with a pitch but that is just me.

Excellent post that gets the point across with some humor.

I despise the pitch from the person who had one too many drinks. The pitch ALWAYS takes longer then it needs too, way too much information is provided and most is irrelevant, and they always seem to be too touchy to the point of invading personal space.
