I believe making the pitch simple and to the point. Selling something is fine, but first mention “why us” or “what do you get” kinda information so that it get viewers attention.

Nice post, alot of great tips. I'm always affarid of giving and recieving pithces during parties, to me it doesn't seem like the place to do it. Everyone is there to have a good time and don't want to be bothered with a pitch but that is just me.
