This is not “some one day event,” it’s a week long festival of lights for creatives — a conference of conferences. Packed into your pass you will get 8 different events covering everything from Publishing to Web Design. That alone makes this more interesting than most of the events I have run into.

It’s a little taste of SXSW but, you know, with mouse ears.

They have also lined up a great set of keynotes including Lee Cockerell, executive vice president of operations at Disney World Resorts and Scott Belsky, CEO of Behance.

If you work in Advertising, Film, Animation, Photography, Publishing or Web Design or if you’re looking for a job in any of these fields you should make some time in your schedule to attend. It’s not too often that there is such a huge event right in my backyard, and it would be a shame not to take advantage of it.
