The clever people at Georgia Tech are conducting research which might make your next trip to the doctor’s office a little more comfortable. They have determined that a Flu Vaccine patch containing hundreds of dissolvable microneedles may be just as effective as the traditional (and painful) intramuscular vaccine. The initial research is being done on mice, but it looks promising.
