Just in case you were wondering why your site has not been indexed by Technorati and your Authority has not been updated in a few days, it appears that they are having a small outage. From Technorati’s support staff,

There is currently an outage with automated indexing for some of our blogs. Unfortunately, yours is one of the blogs affected. The system should be back up soon. In the meantime, I’ve initiated a manual indexing and so your most recent posts should be displaying now. Thanks for your patience and understanding!

If you happen to be having the same problem, I suggest going to their forum and dropping them a line with your website’s name so they can start manual indexing. Good luck!

Ian, I am just happy that you took the time out of your (I'm sure) increasingly busy day to tell everyone about this. Thanks again for the news.

There was a serious of unfortunate database losses that hit part of our infrastructure. No data was lost in this incident but for some of the last several days we did have indexing suspended for about 7% of the blogosphere while this was shaken out. Things are recovering now and there's a large back-log of indexing tasks queued up, it's working itself out.

Sorry about the grief this may have brought you.
