Under: How To Read Shorts
Another threat to make its way into our lives affects bloggers directly. This one is targeting users of the Blogger journaling platform.
Hundreds of Blogger sites are being hijacked. After they are taken over, a short post is being posted to them requesting that you click through to download a software package or check on a Greeting Card. After you do, the group behind this attack has access to your computer. They usually use this access to either find data they can sell, or as a launchpad for future attacks. Some people guess that there are over a million PCs that have been infected by this group.

From BBC News,
The entries on the blogs have the same text as some of the spam distributed by the group behind the attacks. These attempt to trick people into clicking on links and downloading booby-trapped files using cleverly crafted messages.
Some pose as YouTube links others claim to be looking for testers of software packages or digital greetings cards.
They aren’t sure whether the blogger sites are being stolen through some exploit, or created specifically by the group in an effort to further their attack. Either way, if you happen to use Blogger it would be a good time to keep track of what is happening on your site. More information as it becomes available.
