Under: How To Know What To Use

If you’re like me, you are always bragging to your friends about how fast your internet connection is. Usually, this is the point in the conversation when they walk off. Occasionally, however, someone will call me on it. That is where speedtest.net comes in.
I like this site because it’s pleasent to look at and easy to use. Basically, you select a server from their list of servers throughout the world (you can also set yourself as a server host), and they test your download and upload speeds against that server. Now, you no longer have to trust your ISP’s marketing department when they tell you that your $14.99 a month internet package can download at, “1000 Giga Bytes Per Hour”.
[Those are my speeds up there, if you beat that feel free to tell us all what ISP you are using.]
If you enjoyed that why not find a job or read our guide to working in the 21st century. You can also join our Kiva team or hire me for your project.
