I am going to file this under, “widgets that make the internet worth using again”. While working on my ultra-secret side project, I stumbled across one of the more fun things that I have found on internet since that medallion generator that was all the rage a few months back.

It is called stripgenerator. Before your jaw drops — no, it has nothing to do with dimly lit rooms with a penchant for metal poles and crumpled bills in small denominations. Instead, it is a fairly full featured comic strip generator. For people like me with absolutely no artistic talent, who have always wanted to try their hand at a visual media this is just perfect.

All you have to do is choose an item from a large list of characters and objects, drag it into a blank cell, add a text bubble and then voila, in no time flat you have a comic strip.

Unfortunately, the generator can’t make you funny, as my effort proves. Regardless, it is a lot of fun and well worth the five minute learning curve.
