Since I just can’t help myself when given he opportunity to be a meta-source for meta-sources, I was incredibly happy when I came across the KillerStartups blog.

The idea is simple — you submit your startup, give a short description, let users vote on it and through some “folksonomagic” you end up finding out what the great new Web 2.0 startup of our time will be. On that last bit I am a bit skeptical, but for the rest this blog stands out as an excellent source for new products that you may otherwise have never come across.

Take for example Vyew, a collaborative internet white board that I ran across a few months back. It’s a great product if you need convey an idea visually in real time, but if it wasn’t for Google and a bit of good luck I may have never learned about it. KillerStartups takes some of the chance out of the equation.

So, if you are tired of using StumbleUpon (which you should never be) and need yet another sink on your time, I suggest that you check out KillerStartups, you’ll be pleasantly surprised.
