Flying has never been more annoying. I spend a little more time in the air than I would probably like to and have suffered my share of delays. More importantly, I am often charged with collecting friends and family from airports.

That is why I am glad that someone decided it would be a good idea to aggregate all the information that you might need to make informed travel decisions.

Flight Aware offers a database of all U.S. flights including information about

  • Take Off Time
  • Landing Time
  • A Map of the Route
  • Wheel Up / Wheel Down Times

Not to mention, a lot of other data-points for the closet travel geek. Next time you need to pick up Aunt May from the Atlanta Airport or just feel like obsessively tracking the skies overhead, give FlightAware a look — it’s kind of fun.

If you enjoyed that why not find a job or read our guide to working in the 21st century. You can also join our Kiva team or hire me for your project.
