Everyone knows that you should use letters, numbers, capitals and other such nonsense to make your password uncrackable, but did you know that a good way to keep your precious Flickr account from being defaced by nefarious hackers from across the interweb is to use a password phrase? “Thispassword1sunbr3akable” is not only harder to guess than a simple password but also, according to the good people at Hak.5 .
If you use a password 15 characters or more on a Windows machine it won’t save an LM hash and those are notriously easy to crack.
