How long one can be on a specific diet. I have been harassed in the office break room many a time for being on the Atkins diet, and these comments inevitably come from people who are having a peanut butter sandwich on white bread, a snickers bar, and a diet coke for their lunch. Not to peg them as hypocrites; I&#039;m simply highlighting their knowledge of nutrition.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;The belief among most people who are not informed about this style of eating is that following Atkins means cutting out carbs COMPLETELY. This is simply not true in any way whatsoever.
