Apparently, the name “Stephencolbert” has been banned from Wikipedia. I suppose it is because of his recent call to have everyone change a Wikipedia post on Elephants to state that the endangered species has tripled in population in the last year.

I am a big fan of Colbert, but I am also a big fan of what Wikipedia is trying to do. The last thing the site needs is a bunch of over-zealous Colbert fans running around vandalizing its pages. The point is, we all should learn to take a joke as a joke and realize that not everything your favorite celebrity tells you should be acted upon.
