Twitter: “A real picture of yourself is encouraged. It adds personableness to your tweets.”

Twitter has a suggestion for the Twitter newbie that to make you more “real” , you should add a “real picture” of yourself to your profile. That got me to thinking about the new words being thrown around to describe what is now available through the internet that was never possible in real life. So I made a list that can be co-opted by you all out there, especially the ones writing a Business Plan or Power Point to sell their latest Internet Idea. So lets retire “Stickiness” and bring in fresh blood.

New World Adjectives

Humanability
You can converse in a logical non-troll way with others. i.e. You play well with others.

Fleshyness
Your avatars always have you bending towards the camera with only a bra on if you are female; or if you are male, without a shirt. Most of these images have a bathroom wall as the background.

Flurt
You flirt with all the male avatars and your avatar is a Manga. Once you get too close you run for the hills and change your Screen Name.

Rabidness
Always the first to tout that you are testing a beta site, without you the band wagon would have no band.

Source-ciness
The pretty picture upfront is not what interests you, you go to the page source first. Then you laugh at the coding and blog about it.

Lickibility
The condition where you will settle for just licking the monitor. Goes for Food sites as well.

Gumminess
A website that will stick to you like gum on a shoe. No matter how many times you unsubscribe, they will find you.

Ickibility
The front page makes you go “ick”.

Hyperspeedilicious
Only a hamster on speed will appreciate the aggregated feed on this site.

Awkwardology
Trying to ignore the Friend Request from your Boss.

Testiculibility
A website that challenges your Manhood by throwing bikini clad girls and bad jokes at you, none of which you find appealing, but you can’t unBookmark because it balances your eBay, PBS, Overstock, and Daily Candy.

Cheeseibility
A website out of a box.

Gradiness
Overuse of gradations on click through buttons.

SEO-iphied
Throwing in the word “google” in the source code.

KneeJerkology
It’s got everything FaceBook has.

Scabilibilty
Applications that fail but work again after numerous patches.

From our friend Augustine Fou, these two lovely additions:

always-availableness
